UC is 17-9 with wins @ Marquette, @ Syracuse LSU (neutral) @ Vandy. Their only bad loss was to Dayton @ Home eary in the year. And they're a "respectable" 4-6 in last 10 without Kirkland.
It definetly puts Cinci ahead of Syracuse. They still have a brutal Big East schedule left though. The good thing is that 3 out of 4 of their remaining games are at home. Syracuse needs to add a marquee win to their profile. They have plenty of chances (WVU, 'Nova, @G'town) and will have to win one of them and beat Louisville and Depaul to get to 8-8. The Louisville vs. Syracuse game this weekend now is enormous and the loser of that one is in big trouble. It will all probably come down to the Big East tourney as the 8th and 9th place teams will face off in the first round and that game will likely decide who the 8th team out of the Big East is. There is still a ton of basketball left to be played in the Big East, but it's hard to envision a scenario where the league gets 9 bids anymore.
Thats not the only reason Cincy is ahead of Syracuse. Unlike Syracuse, Cincy actually won a couple tough non conference games. They beat LSU in Vegas and won at Vandy. Meanwhile, Syracuse best OOC win was Manhattan. They struggled to win in OT.
nebraska is their own worst enemy. coming off a nice road win, they follow it up with a home loss to an average Tech team. do the Huskers have to run the table to have any chance? A 10-6 conference record might not even be enough with that awful RPI. Losing to Tech will make it even worse. It is a moot point as they won't win out. Why do you guys insist on having 4 Big 12 teams in the bracket? They only have 3 deserving teams.

Speaking of Cincinnati, doesn't the win @ Syracuse by 15 & #24 RPI put them in at laest for now?
