You guys have done a good job here. A few observations.
1: Just because the Big 12 is a major conference doesn't mean it deserves 5 bids. Texas A&M has no wins against teams that are going to finish in the RPI top 50, and they have a below 100 loss.

2: You really think DePaul is in the dance now? I know their RPI is solid, but they have no marquee wins and a 30 point loss to ODU. I can think of two BE teams in a better position right now, Marquette and Georgetown.

3: UConn a 1 seed over Nova or Illinois? Are you kidding?

Other than that, nice job

Depaul has some quality wins. At Wake Forest & Cal in Oakland. Depaul has played a much stronger non-conference schedule than Marquette or Georgetwon. Marquette lost already dropped a home conference game besides that bad loss at Nebraska.

wheres your bracket? when I clicked when bracketology 101 in the comparing the seeds section, it took me to this. Why is Washington being overrated? They havent even played a road game yet. Plus they have lost 2 home conference games already. It wouldn't be a surprise if Washington gets swept this week California

Thanks for the comments...the bracket is now up and running.

Here's what we were thinking this week:

DePaul does have a pair of quality wins (at Wake Forest and at Cal in Oakland) to go along with a top 15 RPI. Marquette does have an impressive blowout win over UConn, but have no other wins of note and are coming off a home loss to Cincinnati. They also lost to fellow bubble team Nebraska earlier in the season. Georgetown's best win (if you can call it that) was at UTEP.

The final No. 1 seed was a tough call, but Villanova's loss came at home while UConn's came on the road (albeit to a slightly less-regarded team). UConn's overall resume (wins over Gonzaga, Arizona, Arkansas) is also better than Villanova's (Louisville, Bucknell, Oklahoma). With all the upsets the past few days, even the one seeds were complicated this time around.

Washington hasn't had the best start to its conference schedule, we admit, but they still do have a win over Gonzaga to hang their hat on. They also beat an underrated Air Force team, and their loss to Arizona was by a point in double OT. In what isn't a particularly strong Pac-10, and with one of the top couple players in the conference in Brandon Roy, they should be able to bounce back, starting this weekend in Cali.

i agree that the polls are overrating Washington. You failed to mention that their win over Gonzaga was at home. As was the Air Force game. Washington might not even make the NCAA tournament. Washington State has more quality wins than UW. you guys have Washington overrated. Their PG & C play are very iffy at best.

Will Louisville finally fall out of the top 25? They have been overrated all season. IMO the Cards will be lucky to finish 8-8 in Big East.
