Monday's Games To Watch

Here's our take on the night's biggest games:

Pittsburgh at West Virginia
The Mountaineers are 1-7 against the RPI Top 50. They need this one big time.

Texas Tech at Kansas
The Red Raiders can’t pull off back-to-back stunners…can they?

Santa Clara at Gonzaga
A win or a Saint Mary’s loss would give the Zags their eighth straight WCC regular season title.

Saint Mary’s at Portland
Keep this in mind: The Gaels, who will be the No. 2 seed in the WCC tourney, lost by eight at third-seeded and tourney host San Diego in late January.

west virgina needs this one big time, no doubt, but it will be really tough, but also they can do it and no tech will not beat KU, no chance

If West Virginia wins this game and then beats St. John's on the road this weekend are they a lock with 11 BE wins?

I'm sure hoping for no Texas Tech stunner. That would be devastating for all the Jayhawk seniors, especially Darnell Jackson, who has lost multiple family members to death in the last couple of years, and is a true class act.

After routing Pitt, WVU is now just a win at St. John's away from locking up a bid.

i couldnt be happier with the fact that the jayhawks gave tx tech a beat down like i've never seen 109-41??? what a joke it was now the jayhawks will be a #1 questions asked

Since when was a 68-point shellacking over a middling team who has a penchant for playing poorly on the road a determinant for a #1 seed when Tennessee, UCLA and Texas have stronger resumes and UNC/Memphis have less losses?

While I love how they play, Kansas won't play at the Phog during the NCAAs. They need to win the Big XII and likely beat Texas on a neutral court to get that #1 seed.
