Bracketology 101's Field of 65 - Dec. 18

The Breakdown
For a week with so few games played, last week's results still managed to shake up the bracket quite a bit. Losses by some big conference teams, coupled by some nice upset wins by some mid-majors, opened up the door for the WAC and MWC to pick up second bids this week. The MVC lost one of its five bids this week as well, as Creighton fell to 4-3 with its loss at Fresno State. Illinois (thanks to the return of Brian Randle) holds on to the final at-large spot in this week's bracket, just ahead of Kentucky and Texas Tech. The Wildcats host an underrated UMass team Friday, in what will be another good measuring stick for both bubble teams.

Here is Bracketology 101's Field of 65 for Dec. 18:

What is the reason for ranking Air Force an 8 seed? Every poll has them at least in the top 25. Does poll seeding use different ctiteria than the coaches or writers that vote in the ESPN/Coaches or AP polls? What will Air Force have to do to move up?

I'd replace Fresno State with New Mexico State. Don't be too surprised to see them upset Nevada for the WAC crown this year.
